I am a Window Treatment Designer who guides clients through the myriad of coverage choices—transforming them into beautifully designed, specialty window treatments for both residential and commercial spaces.

With 37 years of experience as a window treatment specialist and owner of Inuwindows, I have witnessed nearly every design trend and decorating shift since 1988. As the design landscape has evolved, so have window treatments—and my approach has remained both current and timeless.

I hold an Interior Design degree from the University of Illinois and have built a strong reputation for personalized service throughout Chicago’s North Shore communities. Over the years, I have been actively involved in the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, the Deerfield–Bannockburn–Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce, and the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce. Professionally, I participated in PowerHouse during the earlier years of my career and continue to maintain close relationships with vendors and showrooms at the Merchandise Mart, ensuring access to the latest custom fabrics and designer resources.

What truly sets Inuwindows apart is my passion for embellishing and customizing window treatments—adding that hallmark detail that makes each design unique and personal.

The window treatment process can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make clients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their selections before any order is placed. My longevity in the industry provides valuable perspective on what endures over time, what is trending, what ensures child safety, and what best complements each client’s lifestyle. By addressing these factors, we create a clear vision—and bring it seamlessly to life.

I also supplement these collections with specialty designer vendors to create highly customized solutions. I proudly work within my clients’ budgets and welcome every project as a creative challenge—there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a client thrilled with the final result.

Outside of work, I am happily married and the mother of three adult children, three stepchildren, and nearly eleven grandchildren (so far!). My Standard Poodle, Willow, is my partner in Paws for Patrick Therapy Dogs, and together we volunteer as a therapy team at schools, events, and community spaces.
